Opportunity to attend a free networking event

Norfolk County Council, as part of its Promoting Independence Strategy, would like to invite you to a free networking event:  Working together to support older people to live safe and well at home this winter.

Date: Friday 2nd November , 09:00-12:30 or 13:00-16:30, Cranworth Room, Norfolk County Hall, Martineau Lane, Norwich, NR1 2DH.

Norfolk County Council is inviting you to attend a free networking event to explore how we can work better together to support older people to live safe and well at home this winter.

We know that you are already doing some excellent work with older people in your communities. The aim of this event is to provide additional guidance around four key areas:

  •  Identifying frailty
  • Support for people with dementia and their carers
  • Falls and home safety
  • Loneliness and social isolation.

This event will give you an opportunity to share your stories, learning and best practice with a wide range of professionals working in similar roles across Norfolk and Waveney. The latest Assistive Technology and equipment will also be on display.

To register to attend please visit: https://www.smartsurvey.co.uk/s/PromotingIndependence/

Please note that the content of the event is identical in the morning and the afternoon and so you only need to attend one session. There are 40 places for each session, which will be allocated on a first come basis.
