Market Engagement project and the future of the Independent Provider Forum

NCC aims to have an open, honest and mutually beneficial dialogue with providers of all the services the council commissions.  Being able to connect with providers is critical in achieving the changes required to realise the full ambition of the Promoting Independence programme and delivering the best possible outcomes for people in Norfolk.

To support this shift and ensure continued strong market engagement NCC representatives from key departments like Commissioning, Procurement and QA & Market Development are meeting with strategic providers on a regular basis through the individual block contract provider meetings, and locality framework sessions. These will continue and strengthen as we work towards integrated systems of support which prevent, reduce and delay the need for other forms of care and enables people to access the care they need locally when a crisis occurs.

Independent Provider Meeting today (Thursday 7 December)

 

Just a quick reminder about the Independent Home Support Provider Meeting today – from 13:00 – 16:00 (with Norfolk County Council colleagues joining the meeting at 14:00).

The meeting will be held at Aldiss Park, Dereham Town Football Club, Norwich Road, Dereham, NR20 3PX.  There is plenty of parking on site for attendees.

Independent Provider Forum – 7 December 2017

The next Home Support Independent Provider Forum is taking place on Thursday 7 December.

Any issues that need to be addressed at the Provider Forum should be sent to integratedcommissioners@norfolk.gov.uk to be added to the issues/actions log.

Providers are asked to suggest topics and areas of interest, best practice etc. that you would like to present at the meeting.  Topics and agenda items should be sent to integratedcommissioners@norfolk.gov.uk for collation.

Please can ensure that you contact us at integratedcommissioners@norfolk.gov.uk with any issues that you feel need to be addressed at the Provider Forum or any agenda items you would like to bring to the meeting by Thursday 23 November 2017 at the latest.
